Present Continuous Tense in Hindi to English
‘Present Continuous Tense’ को हम हिंदी में ‘अपूर्ण वर्तमान काल’ अथवा ‘वर्तमान अपूर्ण काल’ कहते हैं। इस Tense में उपयोग होने वाले वाक्यों से हम यह अनुमान लगा सकते हैं की, कोई कार्य अभी चल रहा है। जो कुछ समय बाद पूरा हो जाएगा। इस tense के द्वारा हम यह जान सकते है की वर्तमान स्थिति में किया जाने वाला कार्य अभी चल रहा है। Present Continuous Tense को हम अंग्रेजी में Present Imperfect Tense भी कहते हैं।
Present Continuous Tense की पहचान
‘Present Continuous Tense’ को हम किस तरह पहचान सकते हैं?
हिंदी वाक्यों के अंत में अगर ‘रहा है / हूँ’, ‘रही है / हूँ’, ‘रहे हैं / हो’ आदि शब्द आते हैं तो उस वाक्य को हम Present Continuous Tense (अपूर्ण वर्तमान वाक्य) कह सकते हैं।
Present Continuous Tense के अंग्रेजी वाक्यों में helping verb ‘is / am / are’ का उपयोग करते है। और इस tense वाले वाक्यों में जो verb का प्रयोग होता है वह verb का fourth form होता है, यह कार्य के अपूर्णता को दर्शाता हैं।
Formula: Subject + is / am / are + verb (ing / fourth form) + Object.
Present Continuous Tense Sentences in Hindi
- I am writing a letter.
मैं एक पत्र लिख रहा हूँ।
- Shyam is eating his lunch.
श्याम दोपहर का खाना खा रहा है।
- I am not listening to songs.
मैं गाने नहीं सुन रहा हूँ।
- I am waiting for the bus.
मैं बस का इंतजार कर रहा हूं।
- The train is running on time.
ट्रेन समय पर चल रही है।
Types of Present Continuous Tense in Hindi
Present Continuous Tense के वाक्यों के कुल तीन प्रकार होते हैं।
- Affirmative sentence (सकारात्मक वाक्य)
- Negative sentence (नकारात्मक वाक्य)
- Interrogative sentence (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)
Affirmative Sentence
‘Affirmative sentence’ of Present Continuous tense अपूर्ण वर्तमान काल के सामान्य सकारात्मक वाक्य है जो किसी हो रहे कार्य के सकारात्मक तरीके से होने का संदेश देते हैं।
Affirmative sentence की रचना
Formula: Subject + is / am / are + Verb (ing) + object.
Examples,
- They are playing cricket.
वे क्रिकेट खेल रहे हैं।
- She is taking dance classes for free.
वह फ्री में डांस क्लास ले रही हैं।
- I am running behind the bus.
मैं बस के पीछे दौड़ रहा हूं।
- Mother is cooking food.
माँ खाना बना रही है।
- God is looking everywhere.
भगवान हर जगह देख रहे हैं।
Negative Sentence
‘Negative sentence’ of Present Continuous tense अपूर्ण वर्तमान काल के सामान्य नकारात्मक वाक्य है, जो किसी हो रहे कार्य को नकारात्मक तरीके से दर्शाते हैं।
इन वाक्यों में जो helping verb है उनके साथ not का इस्तेमाल होता है जो नकारात्मकता को दर्शाता हैं।
Negative sentence की रचना
Formula: Subject + is / am / are + not + Verb (ing) + object.

- They are not playing cricket.
वे क्रिकेट नहीं खेल रहे हैं।
- She is not taking Dance classes for free.
वह डांस क्लासेज फ्री में नहीं ले रही हैं।
- I am not running behind the bus.

Interrogative Sentence
‘Interrogative sentence’ of Present Continuous tense अपूर्ण वर्तमान काल के सामान्य प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य है जो किसी हो रहे कार्य को प्रश्नात्मक तरीके से पूछ सकते हैं।
प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य helping verbs से शुरू होता है और अंत में Question mark से ख़त्म होता है जो प्रश्नात्मकता को दर्शाता है।
Interrogative sentence की रचना:
Formula: Positive: Is / am / are + Subject + Verb (ing) + object + ?
Negative: Is / am / are + Subject + not + Verb (ing) + object + ?
